OMASA supports O&M Practioners in furthering their careers with further training, in the form of conferences, discussions and networking.

MORE ABOUT OMASA
OMASA liaises with other organisations for persons with visual impairment, professionals and professional bodies, and government entities in order to further the objectives of the Association.
OMASA keeps up to date with international developments in O&M by keeping in contact with international professionals and bodies.
OMASA is in negotiations on behalf of qualified O&M Practitioners with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) to obtain registration with the HPCSA.
OMASA raises awareness and gives advice about Orientation and Mobility to other related professionals, parents and relatives and people with visual impairment as to where to source services and resources.
